NURTURING GROUP

Join us in navigating the postnatal journey (12 weeks postpartum – 18 months) with a community of women in Ontario who are embarking on this journey, as well. The group is curated to provide a safe space for mothers to share about their journey thus far, and feel supported in this small community. Within this group we navigate the various emotions we might experience in the postpartum period, the challenges, as well as the triumphs, and how we are coping across the months after baby has arrived. We navigate the many ups and downs of motherhood, including sleep deprivation, lack of self-care, adjusting to your “new normal”, relationship shifts, boundary creations, new identities and more. The goal of these therapeutic session is to share within a safe and welcoming space, with women who are also in the postnatal stage of their journey. The hope is, following this group, you will have built a sense of community, developed connections, felt understood and validated in your experiences, and received support pertaining to postnatal mental health and well-being. The group is led by a perinatal psychotherapist, and each week will have a general theme we will focus on. Each week will include one mindfulness meditation to conclude the session.

This is a closed group, therefore the same members are present each week, and it will run for 6 weeks for 1.5 hours each session.
